Using slate as an alternative to Indian Sandstone

Slate is a beautiful alternative to Indian Sandstone; Slate is extremely hard wearing, contains beautiful irridescent colours and totally compliments the surrounding garden.
Slate is very low maintenance and because it is less pourous than Indian Sandstone means that it is not as prone to algae.
Slate is slightly more expensive than Indian Sandstone but if you want a more low maintenance option then this might be the choice for you.
